  • Easy to improve an existing system
It is easy to replace a degraded conventional plane table RBC and can change a process without significantly changing a civic structure so it can change to a high-level treatment system.
  • Easy to maintain a sewage treatment system
It is easy to operate and maintain through a simple treatment process and provides a diagnosis available plan and a troubleshooting manual when a problem occurs − so it is restored to an original condition quickly and provides constant management service through regular walk-around inspection.
  • Economical CAPEX/OPEX
It has low CAPEX as it utilizes the most of an existing system when improving an existing sewage and wastewater treatment system. It also has low OPEX by innovatively reducing maintenance expenses, so it maximizes the economical effects.

Principles and Features

  • DISK has a special network structure made of polyvinylidene chloride with excellent property.
  • With over 96% porosity, it has a large contact area and is easy for sewage and wastewater and air to enter and exit so it can treat stably at an even aerobic condition.
  • DISK is fixed on the rotational axis and contacts raw water flowing in while rotating.
  • It is rotating at 2~6rpm while 40% of DISK is being deposited to culture, grow and proliferate microorganisms.
  • DISK absorbs various pollution sources while rotating inside 40% deposited wastewater and oxidizes pollution sources while passing the air at the upper part of wastewater.

Automatic Control System

The measurement method using the previous deposition method has a disadvantage. It results in an error caused by external factors (bubbles, etc.) and is difficult to manage. The automatic control system, developed jointly by Busan Environmental Corporation and researchers of Cheongwoo Ace Co., Ltd., makes up for these disadvantages.
It can control operating parameters including an air flow rate, insertion of a coagulant and a returned amount based on a measured value after measuring numerous factors using various sensors attached to a measurement tank after transferring the water in a reactor to a measurement tank. The DO signal light above enables workers to observe the DO signal light easily while coming and going at a site and identifies the DO concentration.

Features

  • Highly accurate due to low external influences
  • Can check water-quality data in real-time
  • Can manage water-quality stably
  • Economical compared to the previous methods
